Lessons Learned: Class Brainstorm

These are some of the topics you suggested before you finished the novel:

Plan before you run away (or do something rash).
Find out more information before you trust someone.
Look on the bright side (faith, strength when homeless).
Don’t marry for practical reasons.
Forgive and forget.
Don’t listen to what other people say.
Look at all your options.
Should we devote ourselves to helping others?
Sometimes you have to let go and leave things behind.
Sometimes it’s okay to go away and think things out.
Love is complicated.
Think about the consequences of your actions.
Be independent.
Let the past go...move on.
It’s okay to put yourself before your duties sometimes.
You can’t run away from your problems.
Even in a degrading situation, find a way to excel.

Now, what can you think of since you have finished the book?
